GOVERNING BODY

As a privately owned independent college, the governance of the College is provided by a body collectively known as the Governing Body.

The Governing Body includes a representative of the College’s proprietor, Oxford Tutorial College Limited.

Our Governors

Our Governors bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the board, holding the College senior leadership team to account and helping to ensure that a consistently high standard is upheld. 
Richard Davies
Richard Davies
Regional Managing Director, Europe, NAE, Chair of Governors

Richard has been involved in Education for 15 years. He spent a number of years working in School Marketing and Admissions before becoming the Operations Director of a School in Singapore where he was responsible for the School facilities, finances, HR and admissions. In 2015, Richard became the Managing Director of the International Curriculum Association which designs and develops curriculum for over 1000 Schools globally. During this time, he led the development of the International Early Years Curriculum. In 2021, Richard became the Managing Director for NAE’s Schools in Latin America which involved governance responsibilities for 11 Schools across 7 countries. Since 2024, Richard is the Regional Managing Director for NAE’s 17 Schools in Europe.

Regional Safeguarding Director, Safeguarding Governor

Sue has held a number of leadership positions across NAE, including Principal roles at The British School of Warsaw and BIS Hanoi. During her time in Warsaw she was responsible for establishing the School’s mission and vision which delivered significant improvements to the School’s educational offer and commercial performance. She is a qualified inspector for the British School Overseas inspections with ISI and has been part of numerous Boards offering oversight of Schools around the world.

Sarah Evans
Sarah Evans
Independent Governor

Sarah Evans has been head of two schools and acting head of a third. She has worked in secondary and all-through schools, co-ed, all girls, selective and non-selective, day and boarding, faith and non-faith.

She now works as a freelance educational consultant, supporting schools through coaching heads, offering career support for SLT, undertaking appraisals of senior staff, running leadership training and working with governors in selecting new heads.  She supports parents, giving advice on education.

Inderjit Dehal

Director of Quality and Professional Development, NAE, Education Governor and Proprietorial Representative

Prior to joining Nord Anglia Education, Inderjit  spent twenty years working on large scale school improvement strategies in Central Government and with multi-academy trusts in the UK. He has a wealth of experience in international education, helping schools to optimise their expertise and operations. He has also worked as a consultant for organisational development, equality and human rights. Inderjit founded a now-established NGO in the field of equality and human right, and currently sits on the board.                   

Louise Benson
Louise Benson
Finance Governor

Louise has worked in finance for 11 years, within the education and education technology industries. She has held a number of management and senior management positions during her career, with highlights including overseeing the financial integration of her organisation to a new parent company, implementation of new finance systems, and peer mentorship. Louise has a First Class degree with Honours in Accounting and Finance.
