The Oxford Sixth Form College High School Term programme gives you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the British education system, whilst developing your linguistic ability and cultural understanding.
The High School Term is a short-term course for international students to improve their English and experience British culture and education.
Students will follow a timetable similar to first year of A-Level programme, alongside other students taking the same course. They will also take part in our enriching activities programme, designed to complement the main curriculum and allow them to experience Oxford and surrounding towns and cities.
The High School Term includes 26.5 hours of tuition per week, studying 4 subjects. Choose from:
Students can come from September and stay for 1, 2 or 3 terms, or from January and stay 1 or 2 terms. They then have the opportunity to stay at the College and complete their A-Levels, should they wish to, following the conclusion of their High School Term programme.
Attending fully integrated first year of A-Level classes, coupled with dedicated English for Academic Purposes classes, gives students the language skills and preparation they need to study at a UK university. Students are provided with a full report of their studies and grades to take back home.
Students must be 16 years old or older, with an English language level of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. They should have completed 10 years of high school.
