ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AT OXFORD SIXTH FORM COLLEGE

ELIGIBILITY AND ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Everyone’s welcome at Oxford Sixth Form College. We’re a fully inclusive college that’s open to 15 to 19-year-olds from all backgrounds and nationalities. We accept applications all year round and offer multiple start dates and entry points.

STEP 1: OSFC’S ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

To start your admissions journey, you’ll need to fill in our online enquiry form. Our friendly team will get back to you, talk you through the application process, and answer any questions.

STEP 2: OSFC’S ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION

As soon as you’re ready to apply, you’ll need to complete our online application form. You’ll also need to send us some supporting documents.

All students:

A copy of your passport.
A copy of your most recent school report.
Evidence of any qualifications you’ve already achieved.
A personal statement, including details of any hobbies and interests.
If applicable, information detailing any medical or additional educational needs.
Information about your university and career ambitions.

International students should also provide:

Previous and current UK visa details (if applicable).
Evidence of English language qualifications (for example, IELTS or IGCSE English).

STEP 3: OSFC’S ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

INTERVIEW AND ASSESSMENT

After receiving your form and documents, we’ll invite you to an informal interview with either our Director of Admissions or one of our Regional Recruitment Directors. This is an opportunity to get to know you, your personal and academic interests, and your goals for the future.

International students who don’t have IGCSE qualifications in English or maths will be asked to sit an entry test. We may ask you to complete an English language test, too.

If you’re applying for one of our scholarships, we’ll invite you to sit an assessment in the relevant subject.

STEP 4: OSFC’S ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

OFFERING AND CONFIRMING YOUR PLACE

Once your interview and assessments have taken place, we’ll offer you a place by email. You’ll then need to pay our non-refundable registration fee of £400. Your place will be secured as soon as we’ve received this payment and your signed enrolment contract.
