Our BTEC Business programme offers 16 to 19-year-old students a hands-on, vocational learning experience. Delivered by experts with rich experience in industry, our BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma will prepare you for the fast-paced and constantly evolving business world.

BTEC BUSINESS LEVEL 3 EXTENDED DIPLOMA

The BTEC Business Level 3 Extended Diploma at Oxford Sixth Form College is the equivalent to three A-levels. We offer a two-year programme that starts in September as well as a five-term option starting in January.

Students study 13 units of work, which include marketing, the principles of management, and decision-making. Within each unit, students conduct research, give presentations, produce papers, and take part in group work.

Our learners also enjoy field trips to a variety of companies. This gives them an insight into the practical workings of a successful business and brings classroom theory to life.

The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma is assessed through a mix of coursework (58%), supervised assessment (31%), and a formal exam (11%).
