Congratulations to all our students who received an award at our annual Student Awards ceremony!
It was wonderful to see our community come together to celebrate the success of our fabulous students! The Student Awards ceremony was organised by the Student Council and Senior Tutor Ali Farr, with the awards presented by Vice Principal Carole Nyssen.
Marking the teaching and pastoral philosophy of the school, awards were given to our outstanding students for a variety of achievements. Accolades included:

• Contribution to the College or Wider Community
• Personal Achievement Award
• Boarding Student of the Year Award
• Sports Student of the Year Award

Congratulations to all nominees and winners. Special mentions go to: Sophia Pogson and Quang Hung Phan, who were awarded Gold in the British Biology Olympiad 2024. Sophia also won the highly prized Student of the Year Award and Quang Hung Phan also won Boarder of the Year.
The evening was held at the prestigious Randolph Hotel in Oxford, adding an extra touch of elegance and sophistication to the event. The historic setting provided a perfect backdrop for the evening's festivities, creating a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.
Sophia’s Mum, who was invited along to the event as a surprise to Sophia, commented:
“Thank you so much for inviting me to the awards ceremony. It is such a confirmation to me how Sophia ended up at the perfect school for her. She has also said how it’s been the right school for her.
I'm feeling sad that this part of her education is ending but feeling confident that she is ready for Uni and the next steps in her life.”
Following the Student Awards ceremony, students and teachers enjoyed an evening of fun at the Prom. It was a delightful way to end the academic year, celebrating both the achievements and the vibrant spirit of our college community.
