Oxford Sixth Form College names Carole Nyssen as Principal from August 2024

Vice Principal Carole
We are delighted to announce that Carole Nyssen has been appointed to the role of Principal for Oxford Sixth Form College from August 2024.

As Vice Principal of the College, Carole is already a well-known and well-respected member of the senior leadership team. Carole joined the College in 2015, originally holding the role of Director of Student Services before moving to the position of Vice Principal in 2020. In this capacity, Carole assumed responsibility for the academic and pastoral provision within the College, as well as becoming the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Carole has worked in education for over 35 years and her career to date includes 15 years in Senior Management, pastoral and academic roles in sixth form colleges. With a focus upon the academically non-selective sixth form college sector, Carole is a passionate believer in celebrating every student’s success, not solely those of the academic high achievers.

Carole’s commitment and dedication to the College is well known. She is hugely respected by students and staff alike and therefore she is the ideal person to lead Oxford Sixth Form College towards another successful year.

Carole brings a wealth of expertise, plus the all-important appreciation of the history and ethos of Oxford Sixth Form College. We look forward to Carole stepping into the role of Principal.
